About our Beginner Tufting Workshop!
Here's what you can look forward to during the workshop:
- A 20-minute intro on using the tufting gun
- Transferring your design onto the fabric with free-hand drawing or projection and tracing
- Choosing from over 60 vibrant yarn colors
- Bringing your rug to life, tuft by tuft
Who can join:
- All skill levels | 12 years old+ | 8 people maximum
We'll handle the finishing touches, including the backing and tidying up. We provide all the necessary equipment and materials, and our friendly tufting pros will be there to guide you. You'll be in a fun, creative environment perfect for exploring and experimenting.
After the workshop, relax and let us finish your rug. It will be ready for pickup or delivery within 1-3 business days. We also offer courier service for an additional fee.
Important notes:
- Only one person per frame, no sharing.
- Kids under 12 need parental supervision.
- Each session has a 1-hour buffer; overtime charges are $20 per 30 minutes.

Ying is an amazing teacher. We had a wonderful experience and she made sure we made wonderful rugs for our first time.
My friend and I had a great time tufting with Nice Studio. They took time to tutor us how to use the tools and helped picking a pattern that suits our capability as well as our creative desire. Would highly recommend doing tufting with them!
I absolutely loved hanging out with Ying (and Max); a more patient and positive teacher I can’t recall. I didn’t feel deflated by making mistakes and Ying helped me to relax and understand the process again if she saw my lines straying. I had the best fun and came away so proud of myself for having tried something new! I’m super stoked with how my piece came out and will definitely be making plans to go back for a more ambitious design. I’m very grateful for the opportunity and would recommend others give it a go.
